violet mints

I’m a sucker for well designed packaging. I’ll buy a bottle of wine based on label alone. Drives B nuts!

I first spotted C. Howards Violet Mints at a gas station near my home in Los Angeles, California. I bought a pack on a whim because of the lovely purple and silver foil wrapper. Luckily, the candy was just as well designed (and tasty!). The candy was developed in New York City in the 1930s. You can find them at World Market/Cost Plus or order some here.
